You weren't born to be rate-limited

The Diet Claude homepage isn’t one you’d expect to see here in H1Gallery. The homepage is very creative, and more than a little vague. BUT, we couldn't resist interacting with it, and then clicking straight through to the Chrome Store. That’s why we are featuring it.

It opens on the can and a button reading "Crack It Open", and the headline only arrives once you've clicked.

Clarity usually wins, but it depends on your audience and your product. The people who need this are Claude users, technically inclined, many of them vibe coders, and a lot of them respect what goes into making a website. When your target audience appreciates creativity like this, it can work. The headline holds up its end by being about the reader instead of the software, and the only word doing any explaining is "rate-limited". Putting your headline behind a click will cost you the visitors who don't click, so it's a trade worth making only when you know the audience well enough to be confident that they will. This is almost never the best strategy.

Why this H1 works:

  • One piece of jargon, on purpose
"rate-limited" does all the qualifying, and anyone who doesn't know the term isn't the buyer

  • A CTA you want to press
"Crack It Open" describes a physical action rather than a software one

  • Built for people who notice craft
pixel art, a replay control and a hand-built aesthetic read as effort to an audience that builds things too

  • No distractions
one product, one button, and no navigation offering you somewhere else to go
