Close the noise.
"Close the noise." pulls two ideas into three words. Close is the word we use for shutting an app or clearing space off a screen, and noise is everything distracting when you are trying to just sit with your music. Put together, the line points at a phone that narrows down to the one thing you actually want it for. |
The subhead does two jobs at once. "Turn your iPhone into a music-first device. Playback, movement, reading, and local tools appear only when you need them." tells you what the app is, and it heads off the obvious worry that a stripped-back phone would feel too limiting by promising the other tools show up on demand. The homepage itself is unusual, with an iPod-style interface and an opening animation before you reach the hero. |
The H1 leans further toward creativity than clarity, so on its own it does not tell you this is a music app, and the intro animation adds a step before people get to the pitch. Both are fun, and both are worth testing. If you are adding friction like an intro animation to your site, being creative is great, but keep an eye on bounce rate and engagement so you know it is helping the page rather than costing you visitors. We are featuring this one because the page is genuinely cool and unique, and the copy is effective. |
