Voiskey

H—233

Say it rough. Send it right.

Voiskey is voice typing that cleans up what you said before it goes out. Six words carry the whole product here: the problem you have, the way the thing works, and the outcome you want, in the order you'd experience them.

The copy and the design work together to capture and hold your attention. The subheading scrolls in a beat after the headline, timed to pull your eye down the page at the moment it would otherwise wander off. That timing is fine tuned enough that we noticed it, which doesn't happen often with a hero animation.

A headline this short only works when the product does one thing to one input. Six words can hold all of Voiskey because it takes messy speech and returns clean text. A product with three jobs squeezed into six words ends up promising nothing in particular.

Why this H1 works:

  • Concedes the objection in three words
people avoid dictation because of the cleanup afterward, which "rough" names before you can raise it

  • The payoff is the only word in color
"right" is picked out in green, putting the benefit where your eye lands first

  • Skips the category's usual claims
no words spent on accuracy or speed, which leaves the line free to promise meaning

  • Holds up as a product principle
the team uses the same line internally to describe what Voiskey is for, which means it survives off the homepage
